Pick your edition
Two editions. One law.
Every Playbook comes in two editions. The law chapters are the same in both. The run-sheets, scenarios and cards are written for the job you do.
Operator Edition
For businesses that run heavy vehicles.
- Owner-drivers and fleet owners
- Schedulers, transport managers, workshop leads
- Directors and managers of a transport business
Chain Edition
For businesses that send, receive, pack, load or book freight.
- Warehouses, distribution centres, docks
- Consignors, consignees, freight bookers
- Directors and managers who engage carriers
Not sure? If you own or run the truck, take Operator. If the truck comes to you, take Chain. Both are free, so take both if you do both.

Who writes these
Herby Green
21 years in logistics and transport safety. It started in Australian Defence Force logistics. Then ten years with a national carrier, from site operations to state and national safety and compliance roles. Today I lead safety and risk for a national supply chain.
I built The Real Transport Toolbox because operators kept asking the same thing: tell me what the law wants, give me the tool, and give me my time back.
